St Brides Bay Havens Business Group

The benefits of membership of the group are that:

  • Collaboration creates greater opportunities, raises standards, improves marketing impact.
  • Showcase events let others know about your products and services.
  • Joint projects can access funding not available on an individual basis.
  • Idea exchange within the group and on a wider basis within the Business network allows learning from best practice, and effective transfer of innovation.

 

The current program includes:

  • Annual production of “Who - What - Where” business directory, with location maps, aimed at tourists -    4000 copies for £21 per half A5 page, distribution from Easter each year. Published now for 5 years.
  • Placement of A3 laminated maps in local noticeboards showing business locations - linking to the “Who - What - Where” directory to aid tourists in locating where to eat, drink, shop etc.
  • Provision of free laminated local circular walk cards ( initially in The Havens) from April 2008
  • Provision of a website dedicated to St Brides Bay, with free entry to the business directory section - a local, searchable directory with excellent images and details of business data.
  • A program of 5 or 6 meetings each year, with topics including “web presence” - improving Google ranking, effective use of the free Google local map service etc.
  • We held a showcase event in Broad Haven in late 2006.

 

How to Join

Write or email to the contact details above, annual membership costs only £10, for this we will do the work involved in entering your business details and up to 4 photographs onto the stbridesbay website at nil charge, all we need for this is your details, photos and an email address.  Cheques payable to “The Havens Community Forum” who presently act as our bankers.
